Edge Insight

Ok, I went to the my dealer and had to have my truck smoged. Welcome to Cali........ Had the tech re-set the tire size for the new tires. The WiTech listed specific tire manufactures and their sizes. The Pro Comps ( A/T, 305x60x18 ) that I bought were not listed. Guessed and got it to within one mile a hour........The tech said there was three updates and I told him, update the truck. That was a mistake, now my Edge Insight will not work ? not sure if it is the Insight or the OBD-2 and something with the communication between the two ? The Insight comes on and there is no data. I will call Edge tomorrow. I tired to update it on line and it is not playing nice, will not connect through Fussion ? The tech also tried to change the TMPS setting too and could not, I copied and pasted and printed the forum's how to and he gave it a real college try. They have the latest WiTech updates ? Boy I miss not having the Insight !

Called Edge, Great customer service. We could not get the unit to link to their "Fusion " program to reboot . Got a return authorization number and they will re-set the unit and return it. Had to send the cable and display.

Boy I miss not having the Insight !

Sorry to hear of these hassles. Your experience, as well as others relating how their truck drove worse (or insert other complaint) after an update are great examples of why I'm very reluctant to have any updates or dealer service done on my 2014. I like how it drives and performs and don't want to risk losing something I now have.
