Has anyone used this setup? You are just replacing the tip in your stock injectors. It sound like a good set up for the $. 50hp 100fpt for $180. 0 as long as you don't have super high miles on your injectors it will work good.

I did/do use jammer 100hp tips. work fine/as advertised. IMHO dont bother with 50s goto a full injector like RV275s or go big 150+tips so you dont have to do it again. if you only get nozzles you SHOULD get them pop tested although many guys dont.

I have a banks set up now. 4" turbo back ex, KN intake , Banks high ram intake, banks ottomind. Would the 150hp be to much. I still have the stock transmission that is working great ( for now). the injectors are something new to me. I am never going to compete with this truck, just my daily driver/puller. I am afraid af making the drivability not as good with the higher hp set up. plus I want an increase in mpg, driving normal. Thanks for the input!

from 100hp jammers to mach 4's

my mach 4's were smoother. less smoke and a crisper power feel. so IMO the mach's were worth the money. and they should be they are made to be a quality product.

when you say puller, you mean towing vehicle? imo the 150's would be a bit excessive till you get a bigger charger on there.

I dont recommend mach 4's with your set up I was trying to explain that the higher hp mach's were smoother less smoke and better mileage than my 100hp jammers. I think a good mach, or dpp 50 hp would perform better than a jammer.

Yes I mean towing vehicle "sorry" Just looking for a little extra hp. Untill the transmission gives out. I want it to last as long as I can. I can feel the sickness already when is it ever going to be enough? Thanks for the imput!

in that case i'd say 75's. they will be alright now and good for when you upgrade your turbo later on if ever. we do alot of the jammers and don't have any complaints, they are made by Diesel Dynamics anyway.

I guess we'd need the full write up of what the truck is (year, HP, current mods) before we could give a good idea of what can be done safely.

And XD, Diesel Dynamics has been closed since October of last year.

2001 3/4 quad cab auto banks 4" ex. banks automind kn intake banks highram intake relocated stock lift pump. 3:55 gears or somthing like that 265 tires love the truck!

The ottomind should have added about 70rwhp, which will put you right at the upper limits of the stock 47RE trans. I wouldn't do anything more unless you plan to do the transmission.

What was the stock hp and tq for the 2001 auto? and what can the stock transmission hold? lets say I took the chance on the 75 hp jump what would that do to my daily driving, Mpg? IF I took it easy!

whats that??:-laf

the Cummins in our trucks is "detuned" and will GAIN 1-2 mpg with mild injectors.

The "bomb" bug bites hard. dont fool yourself and say, "if I take it easy" unless you REALLY CAN. I wanted 350 hp when I started and at nearly 500 I'm going to bigger again. I still get 19mpg when I want to. ;)
