Non-Dealer speedo-recalibrate option?

Will gauges alone void any warranty?

Anyone have any ideas where to mount the control module for the Edge Juice unit? I really hate to pillar mount it. I was thinking about installing is in the dash right below the A/C controls in the crap holder area. I would have to make a custom frame but I think it might be the best looking place. Anyone have pictures of their installs?

Thanks,

Adam

Sorry no pictures but mine is velcro'd in the spot I think you mention, just below the crap holder and just above the cup holder. Not in the way at all. Wire runs back through to the unit via the area behind the cup holder. I can see it pretty well although I have to lower my sunglasses occasionally due to funky glare. Easy to stash the controller in the cup holder area and close it for those "special times" that it shouldn't be easily noticed.

I am still pondering getting some pillar guages too. Specifically transmission temp.

Used a small L Bracket and Velcro and mounted on steering column. You want the Attitude close enough to be able to change while driving. The dash cubby hole is probably to far away and would make it hard to change settings, etc. Just my . 02

Not so. It is easy to do whatever you need on the fly. The glare is my only complaint and it's not really an issue. When I bought it they provided this POS mounting bracket for a pillar mount. I like the cloumn mount shown but above but I opted out of that config because I didn't want to block any dash gauges. I also wanted to be able to stash it away when necessary and the options mentioned here don't seem as "not a trace" for me. Six of one, half dozen of another. ;)

Attitude display

:) Hello Pilotman,

I mounted my display over the lighter on a blocked shaped the size of the display and shaped to a double angle that is my direct line of sight. Used double backed tape to mount block and display. This mounting is easy to operate and see. I don't smoke and there is another power outlet, so losing the lighter outlet is no lose. Can show pictures if needed.

Cubby

I have had mine in the cubby for quite some time. I had it on the steering column for a little while and then moved it to the cubby. It's still easy to change the power levels. It's a little harder to mess with the adjustments and backdown features however. I didn't like it on the steering column cause I couldn't see the whole dash.

Mine is just below yours on the space there between the cubby and the cup holder. Wire comes in from behind cup holder. Hiding it is as simple as pulling it from the velcro, sticking it in the cup holder and closing it.

I still have access to cubby for wallet, sunglasses, crack pipe, 9mm, etc. ;)
