I have one of my displays chosen as SLIP but it never reads anything but "N" so I figured I've never had any slip. Today I was looking at Records and noticed that it had listed Slip as 9%. I am interpreting this to mean I have had slip as much as 9%. This concerns me. Do I have this thing set up properly so that if I do experience slip that the readout says so???

SHyans,

Have you had your computer reprogrammed for your bigger tire size??

I have had mine reprogrammed for the 315s ("Pinion Factor" rpm). I noticed that the SLIP reading rarely showed anything, occasionally it would show 0. 0% for a second and then back to N. After a number of conversations with Edge they told me that because I had the computer reprogrammed for the larger tire size that the Transmission monitoring and defueling would not work. I just turned the Tansmission Setup to OFF and dont look at any of the transmission related monitoring or records.

Edge said they would work on a resolution, but I have not heard anything yet. This was many month ago.

mine has always read about 6% slip but, it is not slipping. I turned that feature off as well, same as JVolpe and many others.

One of the reasons that I have not been bugging Edge is because I had the TC/Transmission upgraded considerably. I dont think I can afford enough HP/Torque to break it now. But even before the upgrades I knew when to get off and what I could not do.

I was wondering if I'd hear from you. I know we've got the same yr trucks and similar mods (with the exception of your stack!).

I had the reflash for the 315's. I haven't had a reason for any slip since I rarely stomp on it on a setting above 3/5. The 9% kind of shook me up a bit. I'll bug Edge about it. Why have the feature and not the benefit if we paid for it. Especially defueling!

Thanks man!

SHyans,

I think all of the Attitude show slippage. Just the way they have it programmed. I was kind of pi$$d when I was told that by Edge. I do like the way the box delivers power and I wanted to try the HOT with an EZ stack, so I let it ride. Now that the TC/Trans is not a problem, it does not really matter to me about the transmission monitoring. But you are right, it was one of the original reasons that I bought the Juice in the first place. I even suggested some programming tips, but I don't think they really listened. It does make me sort of question some other monitoring processes. Let me know what they say.
