I just had my juice and attitude replaced. Was out playing tonight and had to reset the boost adjustments to stop the alarm from kicking in. This unit shows it putting out 40lbs of boost on setting one.

Then I kicked it up to level 3 and did a 0-60 run. I looked at the records after that and it was showing a backdown of 80% That seems really high? Any ideas?

How do you run yours for settings and levels? What are you seeing?

Well the alarm display is different from the MAX boost setting. Same thing with EGTs I think. Changing the alarm setting does not stop it from defueling. The backdown can be caused by exceeding MAX Boost or EGTs. Change the MAX Boost or MAX EGT under the Juice Configuration settings to higher levels to change where defueling starts. The Alerts menu just sets up alerts that display.

If you want to stop the defueling on MAX Boost and EGTs for a few minutes, the press enter twice quickly and the Disable Backdown screen will show. Set number of minutes to disable backdown and press enter. Then do your 0-60 run, just dont break anything.

What are the max settings I should set and still be safe? The default settings suck. But are they acurate of is that the box fooling everything on the boost side.

The Juice/Attitude was very good at EGT management for me and I really never saw over 40psi with standard Juice and stock turbo. I would set the MAX EGT at 1400 and MAX Boost at 36 for normal driving no matter what level. Set your alarms at the same settings and then you will know about when/if it is backing down. Yes and if you have stock tire programming in the ECM then it will back down on TC slip if the Transmission Setup is Set ON.

Are u saying you're disappointed with the J/A with the limits set to 36 boost and 1350 egt? Is it becasue it defuels too soon on higher levels? (3,4,5??) How soon? or is it becasue the lovely 48re tc is slipping?

For those of you that have had the J/A on a stock 05... . on level 3 if you bury the throttle, can you make it through a 1/4mile or to 100mph for that matter, without hitting the factory defuel points? Or on a stock truck can you only blip the throttle without getting into the defuel state? How about level 1-5?

Thanks

Quick question, I tried setting the tire size programming when I first changed my tires, but then went to dodge and had them do it in the stock computer.

My question... Should I set it to stock since the stock computer is right? Even when I set it and thought I set it right it read way wrong. I set the alarm to let me know @ 100mph, and it poped up in my neighborhood saying I was going 100, when I was going to fast but nowhere near 100. I was showing off the new toy to a friend so I flipped one and romped on it. If I had been going 100 when it went off, I'd have the fastest truck in town!

If you had the ECM re-programmed for the correct larger tire size, then you should not use the Attitude tire size numbers, it will read the correct numbers from the ECM. You also probably lost the transmission TC lockup monitoring and protection by having ECM reprogrammed, just be aware.
