im guessing you will need senders for each gauge... You will need 2 pyro senders and need to tap the intake or get a boost bolt for the boost gauge...

WoodT has it right. I had Boost,EGT & Trans temp gauges before I got the Juice w/Attitude. I added a second sensor for the EGT. The Attitude senses boost through the truck computer. Both analog and digital gauges read the same.

Xtreme Diesel, who installed my Edge, also said you need 1 thermo for each gauge/device. I have two holes in my manifold - 1 for the gauge and other for Edge!

I have been running my Attitude and Isspro EGT off of the same probe for some time now. They seem to work fine and the response is the same whether one or both of them is hooked up. Of course my Isspro egt gauge has an amplifier box so that could help. I see no difference in cruising or peak temps with both of them hooked up.

I've been running my autometer EGT gauge and the TST off the same thermocouple for probably 6 months now. They read the same, and they always have. The slight variation, <50*, is caused by the TST reacting faster, and the accuracy of the analog gauge is not as precise as the digital gauge.

Its my understanding that they will both read, but not correctly.

It uses voltage to run thru the pyro sensor, so how could it be correct when two devices are sending at the same time?

Not sure how it works, unless it has something to do with one gauge being analog, and one being digital? I do know, when I had my TST pulled out a couple of weeks ago, my analog gauge read the same, under the same driving conditions, as it did with the TST hooked up. I pretty much drive by the EGT, and boost gauge, so I am constantly watching them. I've never seen more than a 50* variance in them, and usually that's the analog gauge catching up with the TST.

I would suppose that the two indications would be similar, but I would be VERY suspect of the accuracy.

Take a look at this document about thermocouples and applications... kind of geeky, but it is a wealth of good information.

http://www.omega.com/temperature/Z/pdf/z021-032.pdf

Figure 28 on page 30 (page 10 of the pdf) describes a virtual junction, which is similar to the effect you have when 2 meters are connected to one thermocouple.

If you have a situation that you are confident that works, great! I just didn't feel 100% confident in using just 1 thermocouple, so I drilled another hole.
