Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) edge juice with attitude

hey all. I have a 1998. 5 24v. I have put alot of money in my truck lately building it up. completly built up the front end. beefed up the transmission u joints everything. my truck is finally ready for a chip/programmer. I am thinking about doing the edge juice with attitude cause you can adjust on the fly. i wanna know from the guys that have put it on how they like it and would they do it again.

There is one installed on my girl friends 01. 5 6spd 24 Sport and I must say its a really nice unit with best part the ease of adjustability. I also was impressed with the fuel pressure monitoring right in the unit and her not needing a extra gauge for that purpose.



On her totally stock H/O motor equipped truck when it was dynoed it made 312hp to the ground on the highest level settings without the big power tune installed.



The ONLY flaw I would complain about if it was mine would be the way Edge has it mounted in the A-Pillar,a little low and too sideways for my taste. If it was my truck I would have just installed it on top of the dash or steering column and been done with it.

I love my edge chip. Has many safety features. Will defuel at max egt or max boost. You can set the limits. You can set alarms for low fuel psi or high egts. Built in turbo timer. You can set low end response on all power settings. Couldnt ask for a better chip. Who wants to wait for 5-10 mins to install and programmer when all you have to do is hit a button for more power. I am actually thinking about getting the cts monitor they just came out with. Get one you wont be disappointed!
