I wonder if that would stack with my edge juice and other mods? Not worth the money to stack them but I wonder what the tech would think if I asked him if I could get my 7% mpg increase with the extra 125hp I already have now. But if it would actually work I'd probably consider it at the $3. 54 a gallon for fuel! Stupid government people... . grumble

7% is quite a bit I'd say, if you spend 4000$ a year on fuel you'd save 280$ per year! It wouldn't take long to pay for the EZ. Now if you get the "Chronic Lead Foot Syndrome" like most of us have, the savings take longer:-laf

I will spend $18,000 on fuel this year. 7% sounds like a great idea to me.

I've been considering trying something like this unit, but remain concerned about what it does to timing and the effects that has on the engine while towing.

the edge milage max is only pressure. From some research I have done, Edge uses this fuel saving technology in all thier boxes. However The milage max is only 35 horse, so those of us that have a lead foot we won't play as much.

I would think it would be a great box for towing. I also think it is ideal for some who doesn't want the high HP of all the other boxes. Instead they would get a slight HP increase, and a little better milage.

Good question, lots of reading available here on that one.

Wonder who will come out first with a simple on the fly switch for mileage/light hp/moderate hp. A hint in that thread is Quad could be working on that.

my juice on setting 1 says "mileage", but I think it meant "less mileage" it's only 40hp more, and sucks the fuel accordingly

I have a frend that has the Edge easy he said that at 40hp he is getting about 2MPG better he delvers new trailers all over the USA He says that he does not have to shift as much. It has payed for it self.
