Edge/what setting do you use for Gas Mileage

I just replaced my 02 Dodge truck with a 04. 5 Cummins 600 4x4 auto, I love it. I put on the Edge for the gauge package and gas mileage mainly, the truck pulls fine.

Edge said you have to play around with it to see what setting gets the best gas mileage?

My truck got 16. 5 the day it brought it home, I put 20" wheels and 305's and it gets about 13 now, lovely...



Edge said most people got better on setting 3 with the Edge Juice and Attitude????



Any experiences?

I've got the Juice/Attitude combo and check my mileage by the tankful hand calculated. I've gotten my best numbers on level 3. Drivetrain is stock with original tires (265's) and I get an average of 18-19 on a tank with all highway on road trips to PA and MA. Average normal mileage with a mix of city and highway is around 15-16.

Really? I have been runnin around on 1 and no improvement seen... I will try out 3 and see what happens.

I agree, I read here that someone had seen an improvement on level 3 so I tried it and it seems to be better, especially when pulling.

I didn't see any fuel milage increase with the edge juice either. Had to take it off for service, then put the same 20" 305 setup on it. My milage went down a little without the box and I'm curious to see how it effects the milage with the box. Probably not much anyway.

I've always been told 60 to 80 horsepower extra is best for increased mileage. I haven't played with settings to check mileage, but I run EZ level one and Juice level two which should be between level three and four on the Juice.

My instant mpg has gone up on level 3, so I hope it does better, I did not see much on level 1 at all. Edge said 2 or 3 is usually the best.

I will run this tank and find out.

I got the best on level 3 with my SRW and it would have been better if I would have quit stomping on it, acceleration is fun. I already ordered one for my 06 even though it is getting about 2 mpg better than my 04. 5 did.
