Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) EDM 1.5 vs 2.4 ?????

Ok I know the HP difference between the two - BUT since one can't really drive both - how can you tell if the 2. 4's will actually be that much more - only a little over 20 HP maybe isn't worth it??? Thoughts other than the more the better... .

i have 2. 5s, love them, a friend of mine is running 1. 5s and he loves them too they both make good power. . he has less smoke, but the smoke doesnt bother me... my reasononing was "WHY NOT?" get the bigger injectors.
