EDM 80 HP injectors? FUEL MILEAGE

Though not semi-stock, My EDM Flux 80hp injectors did not hurt mileage... And If I could keep my fat foot off the skinny pedal, I get I might get 1mpg better

I know, it's hard to keep my foot off the skinny pedal around town, but not so bad on the highway for me...

I don't think I'll do enjectors again on a vechile I drive everyday. Wish I could give my back to stock. My 2.

I'm running 83hp injectors from DDP. I gained . 5mpg with my Mega. This is 83hp as measured at the rear wheels.

Why is that? Smoke? mpg? touchy pedal?



I properly made set should not have any downfalls until you get stupid big, IMO - No matter the brand

I'm finding with all boxes turned off or removed truck is a slug. Seems to load up all the time. Computer maybe going to limp mode? I would figure with no boxes and running stock truck should go run with any pressure box. 100 horse at crank is 100 horse. No.

I wish the enjectors gave me touchy pedal. Mash pedal and go no where. Smarty gives good touchy pedal. Oo.

I think the injectors you have may be a big large to run alone...



I know some companies were making 3rd gen inj like 2nd gens - that is they were just going bigger and bigger, but each step needed less and less from a box/module.



EDM injectors do seem to do a little better while being big. I did notice your truck is an 04. 5 - Lots of trucks use stock injectors on 04. 5s all the way to 600hp.



I heard that stock 04. 5 and up tips are actually pretty darn good.
