new EEP tubos

New Style Oil Filters cheap

I'm looking to get some of Don's edm injectors. I originally was going to go with the 1. 5's but now I'm thinking of maybe going with the #2's. What do you think? Would the #2's be too hot to run with a stock turbo? I tow about 1,000 lbs. at the most. The only other modification I have is the DD TTPM. And does anyone know of the best prices or any spring sales going on???

:D

Thanks

Bill

I got a set of Mach 2's and they do run hot. Your elevation may help you out. The 2's will be pushing a stock turbo and I'll bet the EGT's will be out of sight. I hit 1700* once with out any trouble. I'm going down to 1. 5's only 20 hp less but I think more managable.

Mach 2's for 24v are very different than Mach 2's for the 12V

The Mach 2's will not run that hot with a stock HX40, I would recommend Mach 1. 5's

The 12 valve Mach 2 and 24 Valve Mach 2 only share a common name. They are do not generate the same EGT. Most guys report a MAX of 1300 with mach 2's in the 24 valve.

elevation plays a role in egts too. Most guys that run Mach 2's usually do a turbo upgrade too.

I ran Hot Mach 3's with both a PDR35 and now a Dodgezilla and egts were never a problem. I never saw close to 1300 running around Washington State.

Personally, I had ordered 2. 5's for my '99 before I sold it. I never got to install them, but after talking to many people with 2. 0-2. 5's, EGT's sounded managable with a stock turbo, as long as the comp box was left off (boost fooler mode only) and as long as your right foot isn't too heavy. I know my eventual plans were to upgrade the turbo, but people I talked to indicated that it wouldn't be a problem to keep EGT's in check while the stock turbo was on there as long as I watched the gauge. If you were never planning on doing any turbo upgrades, perhaps a smaller injector would be in order, but I'm of the mindset that I would rather not have to do thing more than once, and it's a lot more expensive to buy now and upgrade later than to buy big and work up, IMO.
