who is a vendor for edm injectors did not find anything in the classifieds or would anyone suggest a different type. current mods in sig.

Ive talked with both Rod and Bob about a set of big honkers. Both are really great guys and very helpful. After I fiquire out how much ponies I want to get to my hardest choice will be which guy to buy from, they are both great people!!

So I was contemplating DD3's on my 99 24V but I'm thinking Mach 2's might be a better choice. They're both 100HP injectors, but which one will give me tamer EGT's? My plan is to put in an HX40 or some other bigger turbo eventually, but I should be OK with a stock turbo for a while as long as I watch the EGT's, right?

Full throttle @ 90mph I can hit 1,100 deg with just the EDM 2's, and with the EZ in the mix I can hit 1,200 deg (@90 also). This is with an AFE intake, 4" exhaust, and the HX35-12 on my ETH, tho.

Safe fuel pressure may be an issue with a stock fuel system, too. Mine would pull down to 9. 5 to 10 psi with my Wildcat Max flow system with a fresh lift pump. A stock fuel setup may put you close to the suggested 5-6 psi minimum.

And then there's the needed transmission mods to support that power...

But, breaking the four rear tires loose in fourth gear with throttle only - priceless!

Those temps sound reasonable. Have you towed with this setup? What kind of EGT's do you see going up a hill with a load behind you? I do plan on adding a pusher pump before I go too far. I'm not worried about the transmission mods, as that's the reason I'm even talking about power now... my transmission is going to get the full DTT treatment next month, including a billet input shaft. :D

I haven't had a chance to pull anything yet with the injectors in, but when I towed with the EZ only (10,000 lbs 5th wheel camper) EGT's weren't an issue 'till I got to the Rocky's and the higher elevations (never saw 1,100 degrees pre-turbo 'till I got to Colorado). Even then I was only seeing 1,200 deg at 7,000'+ elevation on some of the longer, steeper grades. Best I can tell so far, the Mach 2's added about 150-200 degrees to full throttle EGT's. Boost is a few psi's higher and I think that offsets some of the temps from extra fueling. The more efficient spray patterns help too.

So, yeah the temps are very reasonable for the power output. I am right on the edge of a turbo upgrade, though. Probably a hybrid to keep the lag down.

Im running Mach IIs, 4" Exhuast & AFE intake and stock turbo. So far temps haven't been an issue but the temp outside really hasn't crested 65 degrees and thats pulling a full load of cows in my gooseneck in hilly (not steep) country. Just keep an eye on the guages. Oh yes, stock turbo.
