eep clutch and drag racing? or no?

for those of you who do it what do you think?

or would one of the haisley or sbc(what do they make) work better?

gotta hold somewhere in the low 600rwhp. dont care about any noises, or anything like that. i just want to be able to shift it fast and have it HOLD. thats it really.

i basically wasted a good chunk of change on a 13" ceramic weighted clutch and i am not in any position to repeat myself. i need to get it right this time. mostly drag racing and perhaps in the future a sled pull or two just to try it out.

i know all of you will get me pointed in the right direction. i need it.

thank you

I hear that all the time about the dual disc's out there.

I have the EEP assembly in mine and find it no different to row the gear box with than the one it replaced. It hooks when its needed and has been flawless since Enterprise installed it a year ago... ..... Andy

I have a Haisley Street Drag that will be going in my truck in about a week. I intend to do pretty much the same thing as you with my truck... mostly street driving/racing, drag racing, and some towing. I probably won't ever sled pull it. I'll post back here after Muncie to let you know how it does with holding, shift speed, etc.
