EFI live for Cummins

I have heard some talk about EFI LIVE for the cummins? Can anyone or does anyone know anything about it? Just hoping I guess.

im hearing conflicting reports,

i emailed them directly a couple months ago & they stated they had no intention of starting up stuff for the cummins. they were more than busy enough with their GM products. they thanked me for my interest however.

ohhh that's just great, now I gota sell my truck be fore my ECU crashes and puts me into a poll... . Microsoft powered truck. bleh! :-laf :-laf



Funny how it doesn't actually work like microsoft software tho. I wouldn't use xbox analogy... I'd say the cummin's is more like any Unix server OS/hardware (sun, ibm, intel hardware running linux even. )

im not going to say who makes it but the efi live for cummins went on my truck this weekend and i blew the freez plug, but before it blew it was nasty fast. probably the fastest its ever gone. but it's in the beta stage and still have about 4 months worth of work to do and lots of testing to finish. you will hear more as i continue the testing, thats all for now.

ive see 3600, but to run up there safely you need valve springs that are better than stock and a good balancer, but we have been seeing a higher rpm and mph for a while

oh yea thats fully fueled and the mph limit is over 116---i have not gone faster than that---yet

So was this was like a homemade EFI Live since you said you cant name the company?



Have they done things like this before or are they independent like Marco.



It sounds like they have alot left to do if you said 4 more months of testing.



How come people keep on poping freeze plugs.



That doesnt look good for cummins when a small lame part of the engine that been around for 100 years keeps on failing.



So are you swore to secarecy???? or are you going to keep us on the edge of out seats for 6 month's with little teasers like "OMG my truck lights up th tires up at 65mph or it now goes 4000rpm and does 150mph"???



There are people like myself who are waiting for this product to decide between tst vs "EFI Live"



Will it be over $1,000 like the dmax software?

The hptuners rumor has been passed around before. Either it or EFILive would be very nice.



No offense intended, but comparing Smarty to either EFILive or the HPTuners product, is comparing apples to oranges.
