Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) egt and boost w/ comp & DD2's??????

hey,

What egt and boost numbers do ya'll see w/ my set-up or similiar??? I see 35 PSI @ WOT w/ box on 3X5 and can touch 1200* on flat ground. im asking this question for troubleshooting purposes. thanks.

I have a comp box with dd3's BHAF and a 4 inch exhaust. I will see up to about 35-38 psi of boost wot. and EGT's can shoot to 1200 when on 5x5. If i turn it down I can climb hills all day long on 3x5 and never have a problem. If I am towing I usually run 1x1 or just turn the box off. Last week before my clutch problems I would see 1200 on a long hill, but most of the time on the flats I was right about 950 to 1000. Easy to back out of it when I needed to and still maintain 65mph. The trailer I would estimate around 13-15,000 range.

I have a Banks Big Hoss level 5 with my DDII's. I have maxed out at 41LBS of boost below 2000 rpm. Above that I usually see 34-37 lbs. My EGT's easily go to 1400F in about 10 secs at WOT. If I back off to 3/4 throttle EGT's drop to 1200 or so and it'll pull any hill with ease in OD.
