Well installed a straight pipe last week. Acceleration improved maybe 25* EGT drop. Installed a 4" last night from the elbow back open muffler. I dropped another 25*. So a grand total of 50* has been dropped. I have seen claims of 200* drops with a 4" exhaust. Are these drops when pulling or empty? Even if I did not get the degree drop I thought I would I still cant exceed 1250* WOT with Edge on 4. I am through with engine mods. ... ...

PS Could my temperatures remain more costant since I am pre-turbo?

Cummins has maintain that the stock exhaust is good to 390 hp, after 390 than it should be modified,along with everthing else,intake,turbo,exhaust manifold,fuel pump, transmission, clutch,etc. I am glad you posted your results.

The 4" exhaust has really made a seat of th epants difference. My truck used to struggle after 80 mph. Now if I drive without the cruise I have been over 90. She just wants to wwalk the DOG. Best Mod I have done so FAR :-laf
