EGT incorrect?????????

My 97 has autometers in. My egt seems really high. I idel at 375 on 70 degree day. In gear I am at 500 or so.



Does a probe go bad?

That's about what I sit at. Although, when I first put my pyro in, it went up, but not down. It was weird. Everytime I started from a stop, my EGTs went up, but they never came down. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, they seemed like they were going up and down properly, but a little high. About the same temps you're at.
