RUNNING 40-16 AND HT3B -26 AND CANT RUN MY TST COMP VERSION OVER 4-2 FOR A LONG PULL OR WILL BURY THE PYROMETER PAST 1600 AT 55LBS OF BOOST. STILL HAZING PRETTY GOOD SMOKE EVEN AT 50 PLUS BOOST, ADJUSTED VALVES, CHECKED BOOST LEAKS, CHECKED INTERCOOLER, REPLACED 450 DOLLAR RAIL RELIEF VALVE, AND ONLY DROPPED 50 DEG AT LOW IDLE ALL FILTERS ARE NEW OR CLEAN 5000 FT ELEVATION TRUCK IS AN 03 6SPD 4X4 PIERS TWINS, PUSHER PUMP,TST TWINS VERSION, 5 INCH EX WITH NO MUFFLER ATS 3 PIECE MANIFOLD TRUCK IDLES AROUND 230 DEG, CAN HIT 1150 ON 0-0, STILL MAKES 33PSI AT WOT AT 95 MPH ON 0-0

going to check drive pressure, and primary turbo boost before it is compounded, i have been talking to piers and also wide open performance. i will post the results

somethings wrong. I have seen a truck with the TST twins program running 45-50 psi on level 8-8 at WOT and only see 1300* on a 95* day with the A/C heat exchanger blowing hot air over the intercooler. That was through a 4" straight thru muffler and a stock 4" tail pipe

auto meter pyro, in the #5 port ,reads consistent with raytec laser gun, has no top end, has 62psi of drive pressure in the manifold, when at 55psi of boost... .

Out Of Control, THE PYRO IS ALL OUT OF NUMBERS, AT ABOUT THE 4-5 SHIFT, DID I MENTION THERE IS NO TOP END, THIS TRUCK FEELS LIKE IT HAD MORE POWER WITH THE STOCK TURBO,DOESNT FEEL LIKE IT IS PRODUCING OVER 400 RWHP

no i think the top turbo is near the fuel tank and the bottom is near the front harmonic diffibulator valve ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..... reclocked turbos and played with the waste gate on the 40, turned boost up to 58 psi, remodified, the modified battery box, on 7x7 the hottest it got was about 1550 for a couple of seconds, then it started to go down with mph over 100, has way more power, but still doesnt feel like it should

I did have an issue with mine initially where the 5" cold pipe from the bottom turbo was making contact with the wastegate actuator on the top turbo, preventing it from moving - a slight re-clocking of the bottom turbo's compressor housing solved that problem.

With my TST (twins program) on 7x7, and an EZ on level 2, I can just barely break 1200°F (pyro reading the #5 and #6 exhaust ports) on a 0-100MPH run. Is it possible you have either an intake or exhaust restriction? Your EGT's seem a little high, as does your drive pressure.

Piers, it turned out I did have a boot leaking (I wasn't getting over 25psi of boost) - the boot on the HX40 discharge pipe, that couples the straight section to the 90° elbow - one of the clamps had slipped a bit, allowing the boot to balloon out and leak. Now that it's tight, she's pushing close to 60psi again. MUCH better... :)

I have got to get me some of that! Oo.

 my cold pipe was hitting the waste gate a little too, the boost is there, so no leaks i could find, as for exh restrictions, the only thing left would be the waste gate as for i have 5" all the way back with no muffler, by the way have you dynoed your truck, and if so at what elevation and what were the results to give me a good place to start from
