Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) EGT Question

Hey guys I'm looking at a truck 77k miles and it's got a #10 plate, gsk, 4inch exhaust, stage 2 injectors from diesel dynamics. Now, the only thing thats sketching me out is the fact that he got rid of his gauges, he claims he sold them. I don't know how long he's driven it without gauges. Is there a way to tell that he had gauges? Should I stay away from this particular truck?

If he had a egt guage ther should be a plug wher the sensor was on either the manafold or on the exaust post turbo unless he replaced the manifold ore exaust after the guages "came off" you should be able to tell. the same with a trans guage,ther should be a plug in the pan wher it was.

Yup there has to be a pipe plug where he had the EGT probe hooked up unless AHOPPER is right and he replaced the manifold which is really stupid and probably BS if he claims that.
