EGT sensor: before, after, or both?

What are the advantages, disadvantages, of the various opositions for the EGT sensor? What readings should I be looking for before, after?

By putting the probe before the turbo you get a more accurate reading than by putting it downstream. If you go to the TST link, they have a real good explaination of the whole she-bang.
