Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) EGT Temp. ?

I'm new to the site and have a question about the EGT temps. I have heard different answers about the difference in post and pre turbo temps. I have mine post turbo. Since i have gauges I would like to know what they are really telling me and the limits i should go. Any input would be appreciated.

I suggest you change it to pre turbo this will give you a more accurate reading.

Max pre turbo is 1,300 deg.

Post is some ware between 200 to 300 less
