i have sensor post turbo i was thinking of putting the sensor in the manifold . a tech

:confused:said there is a 200 degrees difference between manifold and post is there

I have both & It depends on the load on the motor, but as Im going down the freeway with no trailer its about 200* give or take. if Im going up a hill with about 20 lbs of boost its a bit more, & if Im coasting down a hill, the post EGT is actually higher than the pre EGT.

600 seems a bit high to me. Mine runs at preturbo between 400 and 600 depending on wind direction. Check to make sure your intercooler boot clamps are all snug.

The harder you are pushing the engine the larger the spread can be. With my setup and stock turbo, post hardly gets over 1100F. Pre turbo on the other hand will be ~1500 at wot:eek:

I wouldn't recommend running a pyro post turbo.
