Accessories for the NV4500

Well just got back from having dinner tonight and on the way out me and my brother decided to give the ol truck a work out.

I got the Edge Comp and aFe intake on the truck, and here the results.

Box on 5X5 running WFO up hill for a two miles, EGTs were hovering at 900f and that was with the rad blocked off, I for got I had the cardboard in for extra heat when it was cold out there.

The water temp was about 195f, and fuel psi was at 7psi, turbo boost was 28 psi

out side air temp was around 35f.

Good, bad or just right for the set up I have.

Is your pyro post or pre turbo? If its pre turbo it sounds like its a good working setup but sounds like its runnin a little cool EGT wise. If its post turbo add 300-500* and that puts you about where I'd expect the comp to put you in terms of EGT.

Sorry for got to add that the pyro is pre, before the turbo.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention Cummins4Life
