Wow, that Isspro switch is quite expensive. I didn't look too far but, for that price, it should include a pyrometer and EGT gauge.
I have a Westach EGT gauge and a special pyrometer that has an ungrounded tip so that it can be used with an electronic circuit that is referenced to ground.
I assembled a voltage comparator circuit that samples the pyrometer voltage and when it reaches a set value it lights an LED, warning of approaching high temperatures. There are two separate circuits in the comparator which allows it to be set for two voltages. Mine is set so that when the EGT reaches 1100*, it lights an LED.
At 1250* it picks up a small relay and disables overdrive.
Since I had to change pyrometers so I could use this device, I decided to replace the single EGT gauge with a dual gauge and use both pyrometers. One in each chamber of the exhaust manifold. This provides a backup in case one of them fails.
The dual gauge was a little over $100 and the ungrounded pyrometer was about $75. The components for the circuit probably less than $25
