Gary-Sounds like you are pretty heads up with regard to EGT. Banks says to get your foot out of it when you get to 1290. Personally, I think this is too high. I have the same setup with bigger injectors and the pump turned up and I back off at 1150. It is easy to run the temp up if you lug the truck at all. If I drop a gear and keep my foot in it I get lower EGT, more RPM's , but usually the same performance. I run around 600 degrees at 70mph/on the highway here at 5000 feet. With the OEM intercooler I always seem to run the EGT to the max on steep grades under load.Originally posted by Gary - KJ6Q:
