I towed my heaviest load ever today. A full sized backhole on trailer. I noticed something very interesting. As long as I kept the RPMs under 2200 or so I had no problem with EGTs getting any higher than 1100 deg, but as ssom as the RPms get above that the EGT climb with the RPMs. It didn't matter what gear I was in or how hard I was throttling it just the RPM. Anyone ever noticed this?
I think this shows that my turbo is too small for anything over this RPM. What do you think guys.
