Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) El Paso, TX or Las Cruces, NM shops for lift pump issues?

I've got persistently intermittent low fp gauge readings & wanna take it in for troubleshooting and/or replacement & relocation to elsewhere on the frame.

Can you perhaps do it yourself? Quite easy.

I would order the vulcan relocation kit. Use a new lift pump when you relocate. Very easy to instal

I would not throw any money away relocating a lift pump. Go with an aftermarket system that uses any one of the pumps on this site other that the oem pump. ie glacier fass rasp. The systems are all pretty easy to install and any good mechanic could install one.

I've come to agree with that, JKinney, but I'm thinking along the lines of installing the relocation kit as a short-term fix & a future backup to whatever I get inspired to go with as my main system...

If I become convinced that my current pump is definitely shot, then I might rethink that plan.
