My truck is a 2002 and I’m thinking about buying doors with electric windows, electric locks and power mirrors and throwing them on my truck to replace my all manual doors. I’ve done a lot of homework on this but have seen lots of hypothetical ways of going about this and there doesn’t seem to be one solid way of doing it. Is there anyone on here who has successfully completed this? Thanks in advance.

Are you buying used doors? If your doors are complete with all of the electric components and the associated wiring loom coming from the door, then I would think it would be fairly easy to supply power. My '02 is OEM equipped with electric windows, electric door locks, and power and heated mirrors. All of the controls, except the heated mirror switch, are on the door. The heated mirror switch is located of the dash.

The door lock switch and the mirror directional switch receive unswitched power The power window switch and heated mirror switch receive switched power. The OEM dash mounted mirror heater switch has in integrated timer and the assemble receives switched power.

My truck is a Base model and does not use computers for control. The Highline and Premium truck models use the Central Timer Control Module to control the door locks, but not the windows or mirrors.

I actually modified my power source to the power windows changing the power source from switched power to unswitched power. This way I can operate the windows without the ignition switch being turned on - a feature that I like very much.

This may or may not help you that much since you are asking for help from someone who has done a conversion.
