Ive been wanting electric fans but still need to be able to tow so the flexalites were out of the question. I did some research and found people using fans out of the tarus sho cars , so i went to junk yard and picked up a couple. I fabed up a aluminium shroud and so far theyre workin really well!

Let me know what you guys think! I will prob. get a break so i dont have to weld as much and build the cages for fans out of alum. for a better look.

I would like to so if any one knows how i could get them tested i would be willing to do so. Ive read where they pull 2500 cfm on low and 4500 cfm on high each.

Spooled,

It might be worthwhile to put some rubber flaps on the back side in the big blank areas to improve airflow while cruising and towing. The fans are a bit of obstruction when crusing down the highway.

Very nicely done.

Jusat my thoughts

4500 cfm each... ... been wrong before , but I don't see how . Might be fine now, lets see in 6-7 months when it gets hot again.

Ive been runnin them for a year in a make shift shroud all through the texas summer and have not had a problem. but im sure you know everything!
