Gooseneck trailer rental?

1998 HI-LO trailer - opinions, info?

I have a 60 gal. aux. fuel tank on order and was wondering if anyone can give me names and/or part numbers for a 12 volt fuel shutoff valve? I will gravity feed aux. tank to main and would like a switch inside to operate the transfer of fuel.

Thanks to all

I don't have a part number handy at the moment, but if you buy a solenoid valve for a Ford gas with dual tanks, and block off the port that is open when no power is applied to it that is what I use. The one I got was made by Standard Automotive, but they are available from Napa and most other parts wholesalers. I will see if I can find a part number and post it later.

Fuel Valve

All the parts places have a changeover valve. You need a 3 port not a 6 port, and block of the unused side. I hooked a fuel pump up with the valve to make the transfer easier and quicker than gravity.

Denny,

Is the valve you are talking about a solenoid or manuel? I very interested in this because I'm doing a tank project too.

Marshall, the 12V Fuel Valve I used was an AC Delco from Advance Auto (approx. $35). This is a 3 port and uses 5/16" fuel lines. There are four numbers on the box and I'm not sure which one Advance uses. They are: 1#12336292 // GR. 77. 777 // 1#U7002 and SKU# 18051447. Hope this helps.
