Electric Fuel Transfer Pump

Question, how long does your electric transfer pump run after it has been shut down for 10 to 15 minutes or at cold start? I have not had mine out for a few weeks and I noticed when I started it the other day it seemed to run or operate alot longer than I remembered it ever doing before, like 9 to 11 sec's. No idle problem, no fuel econ. problem, no leaks but I just never noticed this length of time before. I remember it running a few seconds then off, like my Y2K did. Is this normal and I just never noticed it before? (I'm old enough where that may very well be the case) Changed the fuel filter checked for leaks, nothing appears wrong. Was unable to find anything about similar situation here on the sight so though I'd ask. Thank You. Larry

Prairie Dog, I can't print what my wife said - but it was in agreement with your first statement . She has been flawless (the truck and I put 21K on her in 36 days straight with not one issue, oh I enjoy her alright - maybe I'm just to fond and to protective of her (the truck). (hope she don't read this, the wife).

ldg, just got home tonight and got your PM. Thats been so long ago I almost forgot about it. I rolled over 100K on mine the 2nd of Jan. , got 103,366 now. It just runs better all the time!!
