electric motor help

I have a dayton model #5k459b 3/4 hp electric motor and need to reverse it and the diagram showing how is partially scratched off and I cant tell which wires to switch. It is a capacitor start motor, I have another split phase motor and it says switch red and black I tried that but did not work, I looked everywhere I could and could not find anything please help.

gregdoerfler, I get all the information on the internet now, generally just typing in the start of you sentence, up will pop a number of choices, good luck in your search.

I have tried ,I can not find anything on that model. was hoping someone here knew about motors.

gregdoerfler, try asking at a local electric motor repair shop, often repair shops are very helpful.

Call Grainger. They bought the rest of Dayton Electric in 1966 and still own it, near as I can tell. Dayton products are available only from Grainger; I'd be really surprised if they don't have that info available. I'd also be surprised if Dayton didn't use a common wiring/color scheme in similar products.
