I too am looking for a 12VDC continuous duty oil pump to operate an oil cooler setup. I searched the web, found a couple of companies and e-mailed them to get more tech/application info. I'll let you know if I find anything.

I'm not sure the duty cycle, but Northern tool has a few 12volt oil pumps...



As for using it for a cooler (like a pressurized lube cooler for the NV5600), you actually would only need it to be intermittent... place it on a thermostatic switch to come on at a predetermined temp and off when it cooled...

I was think more of a pump with a bypass filter on it for cleaning up engine oil without tapping the main pump. It would have to be able to run a decent pressure to get it through a fine filter. For a cooler that looks promising.
