Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) ELECTRICAL Problem

Working on my 95, Wouldnt and still won't engage starter when ignition switch selects START. Followed all the tests in service manual, everything checks OK. When I check new ignition switch there is continuity between hot wire and wire to relay. If I short wires hot to relay at ign. switch, starter engages, when I check voltage to relay at ign. switch, 12V OK. When I check resistance from relay hot wire at switch to relay cavity, no resistance. I am at a loss to figure this one out. Any help appreciated.

Have you tried swapping relays to see if the relay is at fault? I would do that first as a very fast test.

Check out your neutral safety switch.

Thanks for the help, due to old wiring of remote start, one connection was broken, is working now.
