My neighbor has a 2003 gas engine (5. 9) and the remote starter has stopped working and the power door locks blow a fuse any and all help is welcome as the dealer is 200 miles away. Semi remote Alaska is wonderful living until your truck has problems. Thanks!

Assuming the remote starter system is aftermarket, I would fully disconnect it from the truck's circuitry. Once it has been disconnected cycle the power door locks to see if the fuse still blows. If the fuse doesn't blow then the suspect would be a faulty remote starter system, or associated wiring.
