Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Electrical problems

I have a 98 Dodge Cummins that has been giving me problems lately.

1. The oil pressure gauge zero's out at idle causing the idiot light to come on and the warning to sound. (This has actually been going on for a long time but is getting worse. )



2. My ABS and brake warning lights stay on. I have checked the fuses.



3. My speedometer does not register until I get up to 25 MPH.



I wonder if anyone has any input on these problems?

Sounds like you need to replace the oil pressure sender and clean/replace the speed sensor on the rear differential. Both are things you can easily do yourself with under $100 in parts.
