For those of you that have knowledge of the ARB air locker, is there an electrically (not pneumatically) actuated locker for the front axle in the Dana 60F? I need the ability to unlock the front end because a locked front end does not steer well (if at all) in the snow. I had a pherd with a locker. Great traction. No steering in the snow. Anyone know if they exist or when they may be on the market? I know ARB was researching it last year but have heard nothing since. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Haven't heard of an electronic one just the ARB. We need manual locking hubs so we can put detriots in them and unlock them when we need to.

Time to request hub conversion kit from WARN again. Thanks for the reminder - I figure that if they get email from me once a month that sooner or later they will build me a kit just to shut me up #ad

I talked with Fourwheel parts wholesale a few years back and someone did make one but was in court because it was real close to the ARB. I don't know if it ever got settled or not. Try calling them and see. There # is in all the 4x4 mags. Why don't you like the ARB? I have not heard nothing bad from it and I was in a jeep club and a lot of members used them.

powertrax the makers of the lock-right were supposed to have on coming out soon but I haven't heard anything in a while

Thanks for the replies. Larry, it's not that I don't like the ARB. I think it's a wonderful product. But I know that the cost of adding a compressor puts another $200 on the price tag. Not to mention, I already have on-board air. I don't want another compressor.
I called 4-wheel parts to day and they said that they haven't heard of anything either from them. Oh well, I'll just have to wait. But if anyone knows anything else, please post it. Thanks.

Yes, I could. But I would have to buy an electrically activated solenoid valve to turn the locker on and off. The solenoids cost around the same price as the compressor kit that they recommend. My compressor fills a tank and I use the air off that tank. So it's not a simple job of just turning the compressor on and off, I would have to let the tank bleed off through the ARB and that would take too long.
I've seen other locker designs. Mechanical in nature, but the only electric ones I've seen are for industrial use. Maybe I should talk to some of my machinist buddies and see what we can develop.
