2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Electronic Montering devices??

I am looking for something that plugs into a connection under the dash somewhere and shows me the digits the computer is getting sent to it. . I am not putting in any perfprmance accessories. . I just want to monitor what is going on and get more info than stock gauges tell me. . and maybe get the same or more info than if I started putting pillar gauges and things like that...



I have a 1999 2500. . I seen something like this a long time ago and most I see now are coupled with performance mods... .

Check out the scan tool made by Auterra, it plugs into the OBD diagnostic port under the dash and pulls all the codes and displays many of the engine parameters that are available. I have one and purchased it off ebay. Mine attaches to my palm pilot and does all kinds of neat stuff. The have demo software that is downloadable from their web site. The now offer a laptop version. Check it out.

Cummins has (or had) what is called the Road Relay. Will tell you a lot of info, at least on the engine.

I've been looking at http://www.tsperformanceproducts.com/dodge/gauges.asp from TS. Not sure if this is what you mean. I haven't seen a price yet.
