Emailing Classified Ad Link Error

On several occasions I have tried to email a classified ad to myself. Each time the link to the ad provided in the email generates the dreaded "The page cannot be displayed" error. The browser I'm using is IE 5. 5 sp 2 with all the updates. Is there something I'm missing?
