embarassing question

Hi All:
I am in the process of sprucing up my '94. The exposed portion of my axle bumpstops were crumbling so I purchased replacements. The portion of the bumpstops inside the oblong cup are not deteriorated at all and I can't get these things out at all. Any tips or advice? Thanks!

Keep prying. They’ll be stuck and you might have to drill them out. I’ve also seen them rusted into the cups and need to be chiseled out.
