I wanted to embed a Garmin video that I have but don't see any option to do so....seems to only accept videos from online sights.
Is this correct?
thanks

You have to upload to You Tube or a similar site.

Then grab the link and post it. I always choose the “Private, view only with the link” option that You Tube offers or something like that.

Yes, then once that’s done there will be an “Upload” button. After uploading check the settings relating to privacy.

I’ve done uploads on my iPhone but it is far easier on a PC...

I fully understand...my fat fingers never hit the right buttons on the iphone...thanks Mike:D

Unlisted!! That’s the one you want.

Then only those with the link may view it...so any TDR guys can view once embedded in your post.

The reason the software only handles embeds for a few known sites (I think its several dozen of the largest) is so the software itself can create the embed code. Anything it doesn't have control over might be a security issue, since "bad" embeds can allow exploits onto a web page.

Now that I thought about it more, I remembered there's a list of all the sites it handles embeds for. It's fairly large:

Scroll down to the "Media" bbcode. You don't actually have to put in the bbcode. Just put the link to the page where the video is for that site and the forum software will automatically convert it to the correct bbcode format.
