For some reason this past week my 2017 has been pushing white smoke out. It’s been cold here for some time now but this issue just started to happen. Would think it was normal if it was deleted, but I’ve never seen an emissions compliant truck smoke. The smoke starts when coolant temp is around 100 degrees and seems to stop around 160 degrees. Any insight would be huge, thank you.

Is it smoke or condensation like a gasser?

The emissions trucks have exhaust that looks like a gas engine during warmup in colder weather.

Does not seem to be missing either.

Yes, just seems odd to me as my fathers 18 had never smoked and my truck just recently started doing It even though temps have been low for a while.

I'm thinking along the same lines as AH64ID.....Mine will produce a lot of steam on very cold mornings, until it gets at/near operating temp.

If it is coming out of the pipe, making a bit of a plume, then quickly dissipating, it is moisture and normal.

Coolant level is fine, the smoke does dissipate after a second or so. Guess It’s just condensation, just seemed odd for It to start when nothing has really changed. Thank you guys.

It can be lots of things that make it appear, such as ambient temp, humidity, engine load, etc.

If you can see your breath outside, itnis probably just the condensation of water vapor as it hits cooler air??????
