I am planning on addition of a k&n filter, custom exhaust and probably the power wagon injectors in my 93 4x4 club cab. . Has anyone had any problems passing emissions tests? I plan to leave the pump at stock settings if possible, exhaust will be 3. 5 inch with a muffler. . Many thanks guys and thanks in advance for your help!!

To the top-

Does Washington have emision tests already for diesels? There was a big article in the local paper today that said California is going to require "soot traps" on diesels in the near future. I think it was going to be phased in by 2009. All engines greater than 175 HP will require them so don't throw away the plate over the valves just yet!!
Some trucks will cost as much as $9,000 to retrofit. Our good 'ol state govt. is at it again. Unfortunatly, the rest of the nation won't be far behind.
