Hello everybody!!!

I have just finished up installing my EMS Offroad part time hub kit in my truck.

All I have to say is WOW! :D :D :D

These guys have put one hell-of-a kit together, all the parts are first class with the hub/spindle sets perfectly made. It all went together fairly easy, taking about 5 hours. I had already taken the old stuff off, which took me about an hour with taking the old u-joints out.

Total, 6 hours. The hubs sticking out of my modified hub caps looks kinda funky, just cuz I'm not used to it yet. I can't wait to see how much fuel I save and know that saving the extra wear on my front end will be well worth the money spent anyway.

By the way, the only difference between EMS and brand X is 550 dollars. I highly recommend EMS if anyone of you guys want a kit. Maybe a group buy and they'd go a bit cheaper too.

All smiles... . Oo. :D

Did you get any... or do you have any real world numbers for fuel millage improvments? I figured a MPG improvment of 1 mile at $3 a gallon would take me 90,000 miles to make up the $1700 and 65,000 miles if fuel goes to 4 a gallon. this was at 12 and 13 MPG if I figure at 18 and 19 there's a bunch more miles... . So really interested in real world #'s ... . I do like the idea of 2 W low though :)

Hey gang!

Rest assured, all parts were brand new. First class, the best in my opinion. Everything fit perfect, no slop anywhere.

Today was the first day out with her, and I'll keep track of the mileage. I'm not sure what I'll gain, since I usually drive 75mph or so. To be honest, the mileage isn't why I bought the kit - it's a bonus, but the main reason was to keep the wear/tear down to a minimal on the front end.

And... . I'll see if I can post some pics this weekend.

Prices - The kit for my truck, 30 spline which is all I need, complete was $1295 plus shipping, which was $150. Keep in mind, I live in Alaska and these guys went above and beyond the call of duty and found the cheapest freight available, which was parcel post from the USPS. Most companies just shaft you with UPS blue or whatever company picks up from their factory. These guys wanted to save me money. I paid a total of $1445 to my front door.

So, to some it's not worth the money, but I REALLY like the wear savings and being able to service my front bearings instead of having to buy $700 sets when the OEM ones fail - do that twice and the kit paid for itself.

I have the EMS 35 spline kit sitting it my garage waiting for install. It is top notch! I can't wait to get it installed. I will post pics when I am done ;)
