Bud merger bad business

LOL Budweiser is no longer American

So on The Buzz this morning, they were talking about December 21, 2012 being the end of the world because the Mayan calendar abruptly ends or something like that. What do ya'll know about this and what do ya think? All I have to say is I am celebrating my birthday early that year, just in case. My birthday is on the 22nd.

If that's the case, Have a Happy Birthday anyway:-laf:-laf:-lafAt least you will not be getting any OLDER:-laf:-laf:-laf

Why would any educated person base the end of the world on the end of some extint cultures stupid calendar? Not likely. Don't worry.

I've been through two or three "the world is going to end" and there is still life on earth.

Only God knows when he going to put a end to us( the Earth/World:).

I can't say what is going to happen to the world in the next fifteen minutes, but I can predict with reasonable certainty that MY world will end within the next twenty-five years:) (I'm 73 years old). The closer I get to that unknown day, the greater my anticipation. I've got a great hope! Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away" (Matthew 24:35 NKJV) and He said, "I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know" (John 14:3,4 NKJV).

WOW!Oo.

I think the official Mayan calendar chipper-out-of-rock dude finally just got ****** off and quit on 12/21/2012 and went fishing... . either that or he got sick of making all those 2's and 1's and jumped off one of their big giant pyramid looking things to his death...

remember 06/06/06, they were saying the world was gonna end because of 666. or remember y2k, nothing happened. some hippie just sits around doing nothing and thinks about stupid stuff like this.

See any Myans around? Worked for them. Our last days are predected by the new religion: "Crazy Al's Global Warming and Stupidity Society. "

Not anymore! :)

The History Channel ran a special on the Mayan calendar awhile back. They had a couple experts who said that the Mayan calendar doesn't actually end on 12/21/12. Rather, that date simply signals the start of the next cycle. The Mayan calendar operates on a whole series of cycles based on astronomical observations.

"End of the world" alarmists have twisted the truth slightly to suggest that the calendar predicts the end of the world. I know, hard to believe anyone would do that!

If you all dug a little deeper, the Mayan prediction is for the end of the current world age on December 22, 2012. This is derived from a cycle of 1,366,560 days that tracks the solar magnetic shift. Crazy Al doesn't really know what he's talking about; IIRC he claimed to have invented the internet, too.
