I bought what I thought was the correct Energy Suspension bushings for my '98 2500 2wd and spent a lot of time removing the springs and bushings. But come to find out the new bushings won't fit. Dummy should've checked first #@$%! Now that I go to their website again it's totally changed (I bought these a few months ago) and the part number I'm sure was correct for my truck isn't anymore

Anyone ever do Energy Suspension bushings for their truck? The leafs look exactly the same as my '96 4x4 which is 3" wide springs with 1. 75" diameter eyes.

I ordered PN 5. 2109G which I got from Summit, which also drilled down to this part number using my make, model & year of truck.

If it turns out they don't have the bushings for Cummins trucks I'm screwed.

Thanks for the link Todd, I didn't know those guys had something.

I talked to Energy today and Kevin there said they tried doing Cummins trucks in the past but sizing inconsistency was too much of an issue. Not only did Dodge use different size eyes within the same year/body style but manufacturing consistently wasn't very good. He said the Mexico made trucks were the worst (which is interesting being the Mexico trucks seem to be built better in general).

Energy is helping me out though, 4 of the bushings in the kit are the right size, so they are sending me those plus the right length of sleeve. It's nice they're a standup company and stepping right up to help me out.

I ran into a similar issue with an Energy '69 Camaro rear bushing kit due to mono vs. multi leaf springs. Energy was very helpful and sent me the right replacements no charge even though it was not their fault. I had bought them at a parts store that was going out of business, so who knows how the wrong bushings got into the box. Probably a return item.

It's a tough company to beat for customer service.
