I had somewhat of a time finding Energy Suspension end link bushings. So I called them and Jeff there went the extra mile to check with other departments and give me the part number 9. 8119G for the black bushings. Although, he was unable to sell them to me he referred to several other places and they are now on thier way.

I just wanted to let the rest of you with 33MM front sway bars know the part number in case you were going to do the bar bushings. With my truck being 12 years old and having 114K on it I am sure that I will be replacing plenty more bushings and it was a good experience with Jeff and Energy Suspension.

Well, when I recieved the "bushings" they came with the end links? I have not been out to put them on, but I was told that the bushings were the correct size. No matter, for 20 bucks I was not going to snivel about it.

I recently replaced everything on my leaf springs with Energy Suspension bushings, some were difficult to fit (mostly the shackles) but it was worth doing. Made the suspension feel more positive, less rubbery rebound, and actually improved ride- didn't make it harsher or increase road noise at all.

I also got the front swaybar pieces, for my 2wd, need to get them installed yet.

My 2001. 5 is a 34mm bar, Energy doesn't make a bushing for that size that I can find, BUT Prothane 4-1138 allegedly fits, I haven't bought them yet. There is a lot of debates about whose bushings are the best, but at least Prothane is another option to check out.

Well, I installed the bushings and they fit just fine. In fact since they sent me the link rods with them I now have an extra set of endlink bushings. This is because the endlinks that I was sent are for the Durango and have bushings on both ends. The truck seems to steer a bit more positively and the ride is not as choppy when on concrete highways.

Now I just need to get rid of the steering box (worn out) and replace it with the Delphi unit and I should be good to go.

Did not know that 2001 came with a 34mm bar? Is it a factory unit?

Mine is stock and that is what I measured with a caliber, the shop I took it into to replace the originals couldn't find an Energy kit to fit, the one they normally stock was too small, so I assume there really is both a 33mm and a 34 mm out there from the factory. I still need to replace the bushings and end links.

My 01 also has the larger size and thought about going to the dealer to get them but just hadnt got around to it yet now that SHG has found an additional producer I wil cehck them out.

Interesting. I ordered my truck from the factory and it has/had all of the extras and HD stuff that was available at the time. I picked mine up in November of 2000 so there might have been some other offerings earlier or later perhaps?
