Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Newly aquired 1993 Dodge W250 Cummins with USGear Decelerator. Had to spend a liitle $$$ doing maint that was neglected but the truck has no serious problems according to my fine diesel mechanic who is always trying to sell me something for the truck as he did my fine 77 Chev that would pull a fiver across the country if you wanted to leave today. Any way, I would appreciate any clues, suggestions, cautions, or experiences that would assist in my having a great time with the Cummins. We are driving to Alaska this summer and who knows how long we will be there. Have 6 friends with rigs going and several have great mechanical ability.
Currently would like to know if moving to 2nd gear while the de celerator is on would cause any problems. I read about this somewhere but hope it does not pertain to us 1st generationers.
