as i understand, every cummins came with a block heater installed. some trucks did not come with the cord. on a 6.7 the heater connection is just left and up from the oil filter as viewed through the fender hole. the heater should have a black plastic plug on it to protect connection point. cheers comrade!I have a 2012 Ram 3500 HD crew cab, did all the diesel trucks come from the factory with block heaters?
I have not found mine yet.
x2 what comrade jr said. have on on my 18 2500. excellent accessory! cheers. If you have to order a cord I recommend one of these.

I bought 4 of them and mounted them on the cranes we use most often at work. Saves from crawling underneath in the slop to plug in.
I know there is a thread somewhere on plugging in but I'm at the lake this week and wondering if it's ok to leave my truck plug in all the time we aren't driving it? Got down to 21* last night and I don't see us going anywhere today so was just going to leave it until the next time we do go somewhere?

Will make a big deference in your electric bill if you leave it plugged in all the time. May want to think about a timer on the plug.I know there is a thread somewhere on plugging in but I'm at the lake this week and wondering if it's ok to leave my truck plug in all the time we aren't driving it?
